Who we are

We’re Dom & Rob, and we founded Myriad to apply regenerative principles to a broken fashion industry. We got started in 2020 with a range of salvaged cotton t-shirts to save on resources and raise money for the NHS.

But then we thought bigger.

Fixing the fashion industry is about more than using recycled materials, it requires tearing up the conventional fashion model and starting afresh.

Why now

As a society, we’re buying garments fast, keeping them for short periods, and throwing away valuable resources that are full of potential. Every second, the equivalent of one dump truck of textiles gets landfilled or incinerated.

Less than 1% of clothing is recycled into new clothing.

Scrap the inventory

Over the years, we’ve seen examples of the huge inventories that fashion companies hold. Up to 30% of global stock goes unused, a further 30% only sells via slashing prices.

Despite some efforts to increase recycled content in clothes, we’re seeing little evidence of companies changing their operating model to take responsibility for garments they produce.

We set up Myriad to do fashion another way.

Our Philosophy

guided by three pillars

Demand-led fashion

If you don’t demand it, we don’t make it.

Have your say here to shape future micro batches.

Made to be remade

Designed to be returned at end of life.

Two-way supply chain.

To be used, not consumed

Increasing garment lifetimes is one of the most effective means of reducing their environmental footprint.

How it Works

Introducing the myriad model

Introducing the Myriad Model

We operate on a pre-order basis to provide you with garments to be used, not consumed. We curate micro batches based on demand, and production only begins once you’ve ordered.

Rejecting inventory enables us to eliminate overproduction from the start. And when garments are worn-out or no longer wanted, our model enables us to recapture value.

Two way supply chain

We believe in giving products a route back into the system at end-of-life.

Our two-way supply chain rewards you for helping us give additional lifecycles to your products. Regardless of item condition, we offer store credit for returning items when you no longer have a need for them.

Regrow Programme

By definition, regenerate means to grow again. That means giving additional lifecycles to products and materials via reusing, repairing, remanufacturing, etc.

But it also means regenerating our planet. That’s why we dedicate a proportion of our profits to regenerative projects across the UK via our Regrow Programme.

On a Journey to Circularity

At Myriad, we want to help drive the circular revolution over the next decade. But we’re also a work in progress. We’re always looking to improve and innovate to offer an alternative to fast fashion and build a movement to make the circular economy a reality.
